About the People: This is a Salazor Family piece, created and designed by Federico Salazar. During our most recent trip to Nicaragua, we were able to meet a few of the artists. Federico, Marisol and Lorena Salazar Bracamonte are siblings who run the Salazor Family shop. Their shop is located on the road to Masaya. The Salazor family is an excellent example of a local family that works together and utilizes each others skills to be successful. Masaya is known for its market and attacks locals and tourists from throughout. Masaya lies 20 km southeast of Managua and became Nicaragua's first national park in 1979. Masaya has one of Nicaragua's most unusual and most active volcanoes.......
