Description: The Indian Monsooned Malabar is one of India's most distinctive coffees. The bean itself is a swollen bean with a golden color which is due to its unique curing process. This process originally comes from the long sea voyage that the coffee used to take on the long ocean voyage between India and Europe in the past. Now it is duplicated in special warehouses during the monsoon season. This coffee roasted very delicately and carefully has the sweet aroma of peanut butter, and is big bodied and nutty in the cup.This process creates a earthiness and unique flavor nicely suited to Monsooned Malabar’s silky, lush body.

These beans are very dry and therefore only tolerate a light roast. If you like coffees with low acidity, thick body, then try Monsooned Malabar.
